Williamson River: 2024 Season

The Williamson River is in great shape!  The work we have been doing has paid off very well.  We have lots of new holes, Rainbow populations are expanding, and the Brook trout are doing well.  Our season opens April 22nd and ends October 31st.

April and May fishing looks promising with the PMD’s hatch.  June might bring on the Black Drake hatch similar to 2023 season.  July has the Hexagenia hatch and the hopper hatch.  August should bring more hoppers, Baietus, and Caddis.  September and October will have a great Mahogany Dun hatch with October Caddis and Fall Caddis.  The nymph and streamer fishing is productive all year.

Hyde Lake: 2024 Season

Hyde Lake didn’t get enough water for fishing in the 2023 season.  In April we stocked the lake so there should be carry over into the 2024 year.  We just need lots of moisture this winter to get the lake filled up for the 2024 season!

 

Casting Clinic

Fly casting clinics can be scheduled for 1 to 10 people.

All levels of fly casting are welcome!
